Board of Directors

Integrity is our cornerstone. We place immense value on continuing ethical conduct and practices, both in the pharmacy retail sector and within our association. Upholding the highest standards of professionalism ensures that our members contribute positively to the industry and the communities we serve.

Sarvy Ramroop

Sarvy Ramroop is a devout Christian, guided by faith in all aspects of life. With a Diploma in Pharmacy as the foundation of her professional journey, she is the proud owner and pharmacist of Health Image Pharmacy, which boasts two thriving branches in Point Fortin. Sarvy's passion for spirituality fuels her desire to explore new business ventures to enhance financial stability. Over the years, she has ventured into various enterprises, including food, clothing, real estate, stock trading, cryptocurrencies, and numerous MLM companies. Her long-term ambition is to achieve financial freedom, allowing her to dedicate her time entirely to spiritual pursuits. Currently, Sarvy is focused on collaborating with fellow pharmacists to bring about meaningful change and elevate their profession and business to a level where they all find true satisfaction. In her leisure time, Sarvy enjoys gardening and visiting the beach, activities that bring her peace and joy.

Leah Sankarsingh-Ramnarine

Leah Sankarsingh-Ramnarine is a registered pharmacist and managing director of Lisa's Pharmacy Limited which had humble beginnings in the small town of Fyzabad in 1992. As a young woman she juggled a career as a pharmacist, business owner, wife and mother of two successful daughters. She also coached, mentored and empowered her staff to foster the teamwork that led to business growth. Leah is committed to lifelong education and training towards continuous improvement and innovation, graduating with an MBA at the age of 52. She is also committed to using her wealth of knowledge and experience to work together with her fellow pharmacists/ pharmacy owners to create a bright future for retail pharmacy.

Shazim Tullah

With 24 years of experience as a dedicated pharmacist, I have served both in the public health system for four years and in private practice. For the past 16 years, I have been the Managing Director of CouvaPharm Ltd. I am an active member of the local Diabetic Association support group, showcasing my commitment to community health and wellness. My passion for the pharmacy profession drives me to work tirelessly towards its advancement. I aspire to elevate the status of local pharmacists, ensuring they receive the respect and recognition they deserve, and to bring the profession on par with the rest of the healthcare team.
